Purpose is to create an outlet for personal non-commercial work

Placed on table in Doucette 124 (the nook)
Entries should include the artist’s name, phone number, e-mail, title of the piece, medium
Entries that are NOT accepted into the show should be picked up on Dec. 11

Club Meeting 10/19/2009

Toronto trip is this weekend!
-excuses were passed out for missing Friday’s classes
-phone numbers collected for campus police in case of family emergency
-students reminded that this is a school sponsored trip, responsible behavior is expected
-Those going on the trip will be meeting at 6am at the parking lot by Reeder Hall.
-You will receive an itinerary at that time and leave by 6:30am.

-DON”T FORGET YOUR PASSPORT!
-Fundraising money will be going toward trip transportation.
-Feel free to choose roommates before Friday.

The club decided to hold the Not for Sale show in the Library again this year.
This juried exhibition will focus on non-commercial student work.
Stay tuned for important date information.

There is a tattoo parlor on State St. in Erie looking for student artwork.
Need name and price tag. Work sold without commission.

This Saturday Oct. 10 from 12-2pm Paul Rowan from Umbra will be speaking in Erie
Sign up in the Art Office for transportation from the U.C.

Toronto Trip Details

We will be staying at the Town Inn in downtown Toronto.
The rooms are suite style and four people will share a room.

Friday Oct. 23
leave Edinboro at 6am
- dean approved missing classes
Studio Tours – Hombly and Woolley at 1pm and others
Dinner at O.Noir – experience of the senses in a completely dark restaurant, blind awareness

Saturday Oct. 24
Spend the day in the Art Gallery of Ontario
Dinner plans are still up in the air
8pm Canadian Stage Co. showing “Rock ‘n Roll”

Sunday Oct. 25
Umbra Concepts Store
Drive back to Edinboro

Students are responsible for covering their own breakfast and lunch expenses
