10/16/2006 Meeting Minutes

Today during Graphic Design Club, two members exhibited their t-shirt designs.

Please work on your t-shirt designs! The dimensions don’t matter, as long as the resolution is 300 and you use Adobe CS. You can create any design, as long as the design doesn’t relate to EUP and the Graphic Design Club. The t-shirt could appeal to college students. Also, no copyrighted material.

Visiting Artist, P22, will arrive November 3rd and 4th for a weekend lecture/workshop. The lecture will be held in Doucette in either room 118 or 119 and the workshop will start in Doucette room 108.

If you know anyone in the photo club/contact info for the photo club, please contact them. This way, we’ll present a combined lecture/workshop (of Nacy Skolos and her husband) with the Photo Club in March.

Later this semester, we’re planning a trip to Pittsburgh to visit the ABC imaging studio. Tom Begendy (an Edinboro graduate) now works there. Also, we’ll visit the California University of Pennsylvania Graphic Design Club, observe each other’s work and hang out.

We need someone to attend SGA meetings Mondays @5pm.

An e-mail will be sent concerning R.A.K.E. (Random Acts of Kindess in Edinboro), the volunteer project. This Saturday we’ll participate in that.

During the club meeting, a student applying for an internship presented her portfolio to the club.
